Child Safety Standards

SquaddUp is committed to the safety and protection of all users, especially minors. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers children. This page outlines our safety standards, prevention measures, and reporting mechanisms.
1. Prohibition of CSAM and Child Exploitation
SquaddUp strictly prohibits the creation, upload, distribution, or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Solicitation or grooming of minors
- Any activity that facilitates the exploitation of children
2. Detection and Prevention
We employ multiple layers of protection to prevent child exploitation on our platform:
- Content Moderation: All user-uploaded images are screened using automated moderation systems before being made publicly visible.
- Text Moderation: User-generated text content (activity descriptions, messages, profiles) is analyzed for policy violations.
- Age Verification: Activities marked as 18+ require age verification before users can view or join them.
- User Reporting: All users can report suspicious content or behavior directly through the app and website.
- Automated Flagging: Accounts that receive multiple reports are automatically flagged for manual review by our trust and safety team.
3. Reporting
If you encounter any content or behavior on SquaddUp that you believe exploits or endangers a child, please report it immediately using any of the following methods:
- In-App Reporting:Use the "Report" button available on every user profile and activity page.

All reports are reviewed promptly. We will take immediate action to remove violating content and disable offending accounts.
4. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
SquaddUp cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation. In accordance with applicable law, we will:
- Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline
- Preserve and provide account data when served with valid legal process
- Immediately remove identified CSAM and disable associated accounts
5. Enforcement
Violations of this policy will result in:
- Immediate removal of the offending content
- Permanent ban of the associated account
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities and NCMEC
- Cooperation with any resulting investigation
